Sign up and form teams with other students from the Faculty of Science. Teams can consist of students from across Schools.
Hackathon Event
March 2025
Participate in a dynamic day of team-building, brainstorming, and ideation to kickstart your project.
Planning and preparation
March – June 2025
Attend workshops to refine your approach and gain insights from academic and industry mentors.
Pitch Event
June 2025
Present your project idea to a panel of experts, receive valuable feedback, and engage with other teams.
Lab Work Begins
July – August 2025
Dive into hands-on research under the guidance of academic supervisors and industry mentors. Regular check ins will be provided by your mentors.
Final Stretch
September 2025
Create your own team logo and an official presentation of your ideas. This will be shown during the final showcase AND on the SINC website.
Present your Solution
September 2025
Share your work at an in-person event with the broader UNSW science community and beyond. Celebrate your achievements and connect with fellow innovators.
